Fat Belly Kills: Risks & How to Lose It

Recent studies have shed light on a concerning health risk: belly fat. It’s not just about appearance; this type of fat, even in individuals who are otherwise slim, can significantly increase the risk of various health problems.

Research indicates that a prominent belly is linked to more than double the risk of heart attacks, cancer, strokes, sleep apnea, and degenerative conditions. This suggests that having a large belly is actually more dangerous than being overweight in general.

The fat stored in the abdominal area is not the same as fat elsewhere in the body. Abdominal fat is divided into two types: abdominal fat and visceral fat.
